#4. Have you experienced any delays before? How did you handle that?
“As a pilot, I’ve faced several delays throughout my career. One notable experience was during a long day of flying that started in Bangalore and included sectors to Srinagar, Ahmedabad, and eventually Delhi. After a long day, I was asked to operate an additional flight to Delhi, which was experiencing severe weather. The situation was further complicated by the fact that one of the flights had to divert to Ahmedabad due to the weather and an inexperienced co-pilot.
Despite the challenging conditions, I took on the additional sector to ensure punctuality and provide continuity for our passengers. After landing in Delhi, we faced a further delay on the ground due to a lack of ground handling services amidst the flooding. Throughout this ordeal, I made sure to keep passengers informed and reassured them about their safety and any connecting flights.
